The province of Upper Austria hosted the Water Experience Day 2024 in Vöcklabruck City Park on July 3, 2024 and provided a fun, educational and exciting day!
Under the motto "Our water treasure", the many facets of the water cycle were illustrated and brought to life at over 30 stands.
The Federal Agency for Water Management and the "Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Regions and Water Management - Generation Blue" were represented by the Institute of Aquatic Ecology and Fisheries Management and conveyed the exciting and important focal points of aquatic ecology and aquaculture to young and old alike!
With sampling devices, illustrative materials on the anatomy of fish, stuffed animals, children's games and many other learning materials as well as scientific posters, numerous visitors were informed about the work of the Federal Agency and its importance for near-natural waters and the food supply.
