Students of BOKU University visit the Institute for Land and Water Management Research

Recently the Institute for Land and Water Management Research in Petzenkirchen welcomed a student visit of BOKU University, Vienna.

During a guided tour to the laboratory, the students were informed about the practical implementation of various soil-physical lab methods. A further highlight was visit of the "Hydrological Open Air Laboratory HOAL Petzenkirchen", an experimental hydrological test area that offers unique opportunities for a comprehensive assessment of the interactions between agricultural and environmental engineering issues.

The students enjoyed, and we do hope to have aroused their interest in the diverse and extremely exciting issues of soil hydrology. Perhaps we will meet each other again in the context of internships or similar.
