On June 20 and 21, 2024, the project team visited intact and degraded peat soil sites in the Enns Valley and the Salzkammergut. The inspections were used to determine the methodology for the soil and vegetation surveys planned in the project. The Institute for Cultural Engineering and Soil Water Management is contributing its expertise in the fields of soil water management and remote sensing to the project.
