During the opening ceremony in the new hydraulic engineering laboratory on June 12, 2023, the Federal Agency for Water Management (Institute for Hydraulic Engineering and Hydrometry, abbreviated BAW-IWB) presented its experimental areas and research work.
In the experimental areas in the MainChannel (the large hall in the basement), construction is already underway on the experimental flume.
In the RiverLab (the smaller hall on the upper floor), LEDs mark the future location of the tiltable flume.
Also on the following "open day", interested people could take part in guided tours through the new hydraulic engineering laboratory.
