Pursuant to Section 5a (4) of the Federal Offices Act, Federal Law Gazette I No. 83/2004, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I No. 131/2024, the following is hereby promulgated:
Creation of institutions with separate legal personality
I. The following institutions with separate legal personality were created within the framework of partial legal capacity pursuant to Section 5a of the Federal Offices Act by ordinance promulgated on December 10, 2024, in Federal Law Gazette II No. 359/2024:
1. the “BAW Research - Institution with separate legal personality at the Federal Office for Water Management” was created at the Federal Office for Water Management as an institution with separate legal personality.
2. the “BAB Project - institution with its own legal personality at the Federal Institute for Agricultural Economics and Mining Issues” was created at the Federal Institute for Agricultural Economics and Mining Issues as an institution with its own legal personality.
Effective date of establishment
II The establishment of the respective institution shall take effect on the following date:
1. the establishment of the institution with its own legal personality “BAW Research - institution with its own legal personality at the Federal Office for Water Management” shall take effect on December 15, 2024
2. the establishment of the institution with its own legal personality “BAB Project - institution with its own legal personality at the Federal Institute of Agricultural Economics and Mountain Farming” will take effect on January 1, 2025
Management
III The following persons are responsible for the management:
1. the management of the institution with its own legal personality “BAW Research - Institution with its own legal personality at the Federal Office for Water Management” is entrusted to Dr. Peter Strauss, born on 13 November 1962, as Head of Service of the Federal Office for Water Management.
2. the management of the institution with its own legal personality “BAB Research - Institution with its own legal personality at the Federal Institute for Agricultural Economics and Mountain Farming Issues” is assigned to Dr. Martin Schönhart, born on June 6, 1980, as Head of Service of the Federal Institute for Agricultural Economics and Mountain Farming Issues.
